The DMS Administrator’s Office (AO) has established checkpoints throughout the project life cycle when process steps and project documentation will be required to be submitted to the DMS AO for review and approval. Consistent process steps and use of required templates for the documentation must be utilized to support implementation across the entire division based on these key project phases: Intake, Plan, Execute, and Close.
Even though project management practices vary widely across bureaus, the expectation is that this process will be followed by both the bureaus and vendors to fulfill expectations so that all projects are managed in a consistent and integrated way.
